Phinney Center now on state’s Heritage Register of Historic Places

The Phinney Neighborhood Center was officially listed on the Washington Heritage Register of Historic Places today. Executive Director Lee Harper and PNA Board Member Rhoda Lawrence accepted the certificate in Olympia.

The Blue Building was built in 1904.
The Governor’s Advisory Council on Historic Preservation also recommended that the site be nominated for the National Register of Historic Places.

The Brick Building was built in 1918.
