The next Greenwood Community Council meeting is at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, at the Greenwood Library.
On the agenda:
– Continued discussion of potential park site acquisitions.
– Potential presentation by Fred Meyer for its Greenwood store remodel.
– Discussion of the Department of Planning and Development’s rezone recommendations.
– Update on Greenwood Streetscapes community workshops to bring sidewalks to some streets in north Greenwood, through the Neighborhood Matching Fund. Greenwood Streetscapes is currently working on four areas:
- North 97th Street from Greenwood Avenue North to Dayton Avenue North
- Evanston Avenue North from North 90th to North 92nd streets
- NW 87th Street from 3rd Avenue NW to 6th Avenue NW
- North 102nd Street from Greenwood Avenue North to Dayton Avenue North
