Police going door to door in Greenwood

by | Jun 16, 2010

You may soon get a knock at the door from a police officer. For the next two weeks, Seattle Police are going door to door to talk with Greenwood residents about crime and safety issues in the neighborhood. We talked with folks at the North Precinct who tell us officers from the Community Police Team are contacting 30 residents each in a predetermined area (roughly west of Aurora from N. 90th Street to N. 105th). They’ll be asking specific survey questions and hope to have the results later this month. Our friends at the West Seattle Blog have a story on the same program underway in the Southwest Precinct.
