Annual ArtWalk is tonight and tomorrow

by | May 14, 2010

The streets of Greenwood-Phinney will be full of art lovers tonight and tomorrow for the 15th annual Greenwood/Phinney ArtWalk. The ArtWalk runs the length of Phinney and Greenwood avenues from 59th Street to 87th Street, from 6-9 p.m. Friday and 12-5 p.m. Saturday. Sixty-three businesses will feature 100 artists’ work in many mediums, including paintings, sculptures, photography, prints, glass, metal and fiber art, ceramics and mixed media.
A number of businesses will also have live music. Participating businesses will have ArtWalk maps, or you can download one here. The map has a list of every artist at each business, plus a notation of which businesses will have live entertainment.
This is usually one of the busiest nights in the neighborhood, with thousands of people out strolling, and the weather is supposed to be lovely, so get out and see your neighbors!
