HomeStreet Bank’s Ballard branch is honoring local businesses with its annual “Great Neighbor, Great Business” awards.
This year’s three winners are the Phinney Neighborhood Association, Cancer Lifeline and Sip & Ship.
Businesses were selected based on community partnership, being a great employer, and providing an exceptional customer environment.
Cancer Lifeline has a location on the eastern flank of Phinney Ridge, at 6522 Fremont Ave. N. Sip & Ship has locations in Ballard and Greenwood.
The businesses will be honored at a community reception from 5-6:30 on Friday, Jan. 22, at HomeStreet Bank, Ballard branch, 8050 15th Ave. N.W. Refreshments will be served, and live music will be performed by cellist Gretchen Yanover. (Disclosure: Sip & Ship is a sponsor of PhinneyWood.)
