Three students at St. John Catholic School are performing in local holiday productions at Pacific Northwest Ballet, Seattle Children’s Theatre and Stone Soup Theatre.
Sixth-grader Hailey Hartwich is one of three dancers sharing the lead role of Clara in Pacific Northwest Ballet’s “Nutcracker.” Hailey has been dancing with the Pacific Northwest Ballet School for five years and has performed in two previous Nutcracker productions. Performances run from Nov. 27-Dec. 30.
Sixth-grader Dean Chrisafis is sharing the role of Michael in Seattle Children’s Theatre production of “Peter Pan.” Dean has appeared in a number of Broadway Bound performances, including as The Artful Dodger in “Oliver.” Last summer he played the Mad Hatter in SCT’s production of “Alice in Wonderland.” “Peter Pan” runs now through Jan. 10, 2010.
Fourth-grader Ali Kineman is making her acting debut in Stone Soup Theatre’s production of “A Child’s Christmas in Wales.” Based on the Dylan Thomas poem, it has become a Christmas classic. Performances run Dec. 4 – 24.
