A number of media outlets have reported on a series of armed robberies in various neighborhoods throughout the city, including several at Green Lake. Friday night, KING 5 reported that Seattle Police have stepped up bike and car patrols around the lake and on the pathways.
The first Green Lake incident happened on Tuesday, when a group of men beat a man and stole his wallet. The other happened late Thursday night, when a group of three men robbed several people on the east side of the lake.
Police believe the robberies may be connected to several others around the city, including Capitol Hill and Magnolia.
