Cougar captured, Discovery Park reopening

by | Sep 6, 2009

You may be relieved to know that the elusive cougar has been captured at Discovery Park. Our sister site, Magnolia Voice, was the first to report the animal’s nighttime capture near the Daybreak Star Center.

Seattle Parks and Recreation will re-open the park at 11 a.m.

After all the reports of the animal being spotted everywhere from our neighborhood to Magnolia, here’s hoping any future neighborhood cougar sitings are of the WSU variety.
