Zoo closing early Friday

Woodland Park Zoo is closing early this Friday for its annual fundraising Jungle Party. The zoo will open at 9:30 a.m. but admission gates close at 3 p.m. Visitors can stay inside the zoo until 4 p.m.
Other changes that day: The North Entrance off N. 59th St. & Phinney Ave. N. will be closed all day; the North Meadow and its walk path will be closed all day; and the historic carousel will be closed all day. All vehicles must be removed from the North Entrance parking lot by noon.
Last year’s Jungle Party dinner and auction raised more than $1.8 million to help support the zoo’s.
