Elizabeth wrote to us late Saturday night to say there were strange noises in her neighborhood:
I’m at 90th and Palatine, and we’ve been hearing gunshot-type noises for the past several hours. A few will sound (not rapid, like fireworks, but spaced out over 10 or 20 seconds), and then nothing for a while, and then we’ll hear them again later. Have you heard anything about this? It’s driving me nuts!
She says the sounds happened for about three hours until around midnight, and then nothing on Sunday. Did anybody else hear it or know what it was?
