Pug found – taken to animal shelter

by | Jun 4, 2009

Loretta forwarded this note about a lost dog found yesterday:

“A friend and I were walking our dogs through lower Woodland Park this morning when we found an apparently lost or abandoned older pug sitting politely on one of the paths. There was nobody nearby and apparently nobody looking for her. We picked her up and took her to the Seattle Animal Shelter. When we got there, they said that they had received another report earlier this morning about a pug in lower Woodland Park, but the caller wasn’t able to catch her.
She looked well-fed, and she was definitely very clean with no doggie smell. Probably older, light tan fur with blackish face and slightly gray muzzle, and has something wrong with her left hind leg – she was kind of dragging it, but it didn’t seem to give her pain. If you know anyone who has lost a pug, please pass the word that she is at the Seattle Animal Shelter on 15th West – one mile south of the Ballard Bridge. 2061 15th Ave West, Seattle, WA 98119.
