by | Jun 29, 2009

Police are still searching for a strong-arm robbery at the Cowgirls Espresso on 143rd and Greenwood Ave. Sunday morning. Police say that the suspect punched through the glass window and demanded the money from the register. A short time later an unoccupied car was found, still running, in a ditch near the robbery location. An elderly witness said he took the suspect to a location near 80th & 3rd Ave. Police searched the area and K9 units were called in. After tracking the robbery scene, the area where the car was in the ditch and the location near 80th & 3rd, the suspect was never found. The Robbery Unit will now take over the investigation. The possible suspect vehicle has been impounded. (Thanks Silver for additional information!)
