Four finalists have been chosen for this year’s Phinney Farmers Market logo, to be used on T-shirts and shopping bags. Vote online for your favorite by May 1.
Phinney’s Farmers Market runs 3-7 p.m. May 29 through October in the lower parking lot of the Phinney Center.
The PNA has partnered with the Neighborhood Farmers Market Alliance , a community-based non-profit which brings Washington State farmers into the city to sell their farm-fresh produce.
At the Phinney Farmers Market, farmers from both sides of the Cascades offer their own fresh-picked fruit, herbs and all kinds of fresh, seasonal vegetables. The market is rounded out with local honey, jams, farmstead cheeses, fresh pasta, sweet and hard cider, baked goods and ready-to eat offerings.
The Phinney Farmers Market is the place to be on a Friday evening, whether you are simply shopping or staying for dinner. Choices include wood-fired pizza, Vietnamese spring rolls, and dishes from Pan Africa, a PNA tenant. There’s even entertainment from 4 – 6 p.m. each week!
