The Cambodian non-profit Tiny Toones is holding a fundraiser in Greenwood Friday night to raise funds to help teach basic education, gang intervention and prevention, and HIV/AIDS awareness to youth off the streets of Phnom Penh.
The community fundraiser is from 6-10 p.m. Friday at the Greenwood Collective, 8537 Greenwood Ave. N. Admission is $15; advance tickets for $10 are on sale online. Youth under the age of 13 get in free.
Tiny Toones uses breakdancing, hip-hop music and contemporary art to empower Cambodian youth. Seven Tiny Toones youth will be here as part of the national fundraising tour.
