Road and sidewalk work continues around Piper Village, the new mixed use buildings behind Blockbuster and Bartell’s on 85th St. Part of Palatine Avenue near 87th St. has been closed for a while, but now one side of 1st Avenue is closed as well as workers pour a new parking strip and road next to the new sidewalks recently installed.
The west entrance/exit to Blockbuster, Bartell’s and Top Ten Toys near Fred Meyer is closed because of the work, so you must enter and exit from the east side on Palatine.
