A number of local organizations will give people plenty of opportunity to get involved in the neighborhood at the Civic Engagement Fair this Saturday, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., at the Greenwood Senior Center at 525 N. 85th St.
Sponsored by the Greenwood SAGE (Seniors, Active, Giving and Engaged) Project, the nonprofit groups will talk about the diverse needs of our community and what you can do to help. Organizations include the Boys & Girls Club, Compassion & Choices, Gilda’s Club, Green Bean Coffeehouse, New Beginnings, New Horizons, Phinney Neighborhood Association, Refugee Women’s Alliance, Southern Sudanese Community, and others.
