First monthly neighborhood artwalk is Friday night

by | Dec 11, 2008

As we reported earlier this week, the inaugural monthly Phinney/Greenwood artwalk is Friday night from 6-9 p.m. Art Up/Open Up will feature a variety of artwork at about 30 local businesses, and some businesses are offering special sales as well. Check out the map here.
And dozens of Snowmen on Parade will line neighborhood sidewalks. Many of the artwalk businesses will have a snowman outside, along with a silent bid sheet. Bidding starts at 6 p.m. and ends at 8:30 p.m., so if you’re the winning bidder, you can take your snowman right home and put him in your yard that night. Take a sneak peek at some of the creations by local artists and children here.
Cash or checks made out to North Seattle Boys & Girls Club are accepted as payment. All proceeds go directly to the North Seattle Boys & Girls Club to pay for memberships for kids who otherwise couldn’t afford it.
