Schultz Pottery closing sale

by | Sep 16, 2008

After 22 years in business at the same location, Tom Schultz is closing up shop at the end of this month.

While the signs at 5914 Phinney Avenue say it’s a moving sale, he says he’s actually retiring from pottery, closing up shop and the Web site. Prices at the store are marked down 30-70 percent. If you’re interested in stopping by, the store is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The store is just south of the late Phinney Market, making for two empty businesses on the block. A sign in the former market’s window says they’re looking for a community-oriented business to move in. Should you be that business, call Nick at (206) 783-9191.
