Be on the lookout for a stolen bike

by | Sep 8, 2008

Liz tells us someone stole a hand-painted fire engine red 10-speed mountain bike from the front yard of her home north of Greenwood Park on Evanston.

“Pretty creepy considering they would have had to walk in our gate and through the yard,” she says. It has no name or logo on it and even the brake cable covers are painted.

She drove around Saturday to see if someone might have ditched it, but no luck. If you know anything about the missing bike, please post a comment here.
