Meeting on ‘Building Green’ permitting problems

by | Aug 25, 2008

The NW EcoBuilding Guild is holding a meeting from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Phinney Neighborhood Association (brick building) to discuss problems getting city permits for “green” building projects.
Builders, architects and city permitting staff will join the discussion on code barriers to building green. The City of Seattle has recently begun reviewing its permitting operations to see if it’s inhibiting green building, so this is a good chance to help “fix” the system if you think it’s broken.
It’s free for Guild members; a $5 donation is suggested for non-members.
