Signe Darpinian, LMFT, CEDS is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Eating Disorders Specialist. She is also a public speaker and therapist who specializes in the mental health concerns of women in midlife and menopause, eating disorders, and body image across the lifespan. Her books include No Weigh!, Raising Body Positive Teens, and A Woman’s Guide to Menopause, Body Image, and Emotional Well-being at Midlife.

Naomi Busch, MD, MSCP is a Board Certified Family Physician specializing in the treatment of Perimenopause and Menopause. She has been in private practice for over 20 years with a focus in weight inclusive family medicine, the medical management of eating disorders at all levels of care, and now peri/menopause. Dr. Busch is driven to provide evidence based menopause education for patients, employers and medical professionals through in person, zoom, and residency talks.

Description: Naomi Busch, MD, MSCP, and Signe Darpinian, LMFT, CEDS, are excited to offer their experience and knowledge in a talk titled, “Menopause Unplugged.” They will inform and educate attendees on the basics of menopause; most common symptoms and treatments, provide anticipatory guidance around changing bodies, mood and mental health in midlife and beyond. Participants will gain comfort managing perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms through a weight-inclusive lens.
