Hubs 101

Neighbors will support each other after a large disaster. They’ll have to. Officials can only do so much. Phinneywood and adjacent neighborhoods are supported by multiple Emergency Hubs run by volunteers. In the event of a disaster, these volunteers will set up stations so neighbors can share information and resources.

Learn how Emergency Hubs operate in our interactive Hubs 101 workshop. You’ll get an overview of Hub operations, learn about the four main stations, and practice the “Greeter” role. There will be snacks and freebies!
