Greenwood resident will be a contestant on ‘Jeopardy’ next week

Greenwood resident Mary Harris will be a contestant on “Jeopardy” next Tuesday, April 17. Harris tells us she taped the episode just before Christmas after taking an online test and then going through a regional audition last spring.
Harris has lived in Greenwood for three years, and owned The Fiber Gallery here for eight years.
“I’ve been a fan of the show just about my whole life,” she said in an email.”I’ve taken the annual online test many times and made it to the audition stage three times. Taping the show was about the most fun I’ve had in my whole life, but I can’t tell you in advance how I did. It doesn’t really matter for me because it was all about the experience: visiting the Sony studios, seeing how the show was put together, and meeting Alex Trebek.”
“Jeopardy” airs at 7:30 p.m. on KOMO 4. Harris and friends will have a viewing party starting at 6:30 p.m. next Tuesday at the Pig & Whistle in Greenwood.
