Fiber Gallery moving from Phinney to Greenwood

by | Oct 27, 2011

The Fiber Gallery, on the corner of Greenwood Avenue North and North 70th Street, is moving into half of the former Antique Lighting Company at Greenwood and 83rd.

Owner Mary Harris tells us that the landlord of the new space built a wall between the new Luxe Lighting and The Fiber Gallery space, and installed a new front door at 8212 Greenwood Ave. N. The new store is 1,400 square feet — about the same size as the current store — but a basement stockroom will be larger than their current one. There’s also customer parking in the back.

The Fiber Gallery will take over the space on the right.
Harris said the yarn and knitting supplies store will move during the first week of January. It opened in its current space in 2004. The old store will remain open until the move.
