by | Mar 21, 2024

On Tuesday, April 2nd from 10am – 2pm, the new Aegis Living Ballard (949 NW Market St) will be holding a free Dealing with Dementia workshop with nursing expert Carol Redfield. She will be educating caregivers and helping them understand dementia, manage problem behaviors, handle stress, and find time for themselves. In this workshop, attendees will receive a free guidebook to help increase their dementia knowledge and confidence in their ability to provide care and communicate with loved ones with memory loss.

Space is limited and refreshments will be provided. For any questions or to RSVP, please reach out to [email protected].

Carol Redfield (DNP, MN, RN) is currently an Adjunct Professor at Seattle Pacific University. Her nursing background spans over 40 years in oncology, nursing education and gerontology. Having been a caregiver to various family members and friends, Carol understands the need for further evidence-based education and social connection to caregivers who care for society’s most marginalized population, aging elders
