Taproot Theatre’s cofounders to star in How to Write a New Book for the Bible

by | Feb 23, 2024

Taproot Theatre is excited to announce the second play in its 2024 Jewell Mainstage Season, Bill Cain’s How to Write a New Book for the Bible. Directed by Taproot’s Associate Artistic Director, Bretteney Beverly and featuring Taproot cofounders Pam Nolte and Scott Nolte, the show opens on March 20th and runs through April 20th.

Families are funny. When Bill Cain moves home to help his failing mother, he encounters the unexpected humor and mystery of his family. Amidst doctor appointments and baseball games he begins to see how seemingly ordinary details become the lifegiving rituals that shape our lives. For anyone who treasures the beauty in their imperfect family.

Tickets to How to Write a New Book for the Bible are available online at taproottheatre.org, by phone at 206.781.9707 (Tue-Sat, noon-5:00 PM), or in person at 204 N 85th St. Ticket prices range from $25-62 with discounts available for students, seniors, active military, 25 & Under and TeenTix members.
