Our most frequent tipster, Mike V, tells us that Pete and Voula Sideris have retired after 22 years of owning Pete’s Egg Nest at 7717 Greenwood Avenue.
They sold the business to Hoa Tram, who owns The Egg & Us cafe in Ballard. Tram plans to keep the Pete’s Egg Nest name, menu and most of the staff.

Mike says Pete and Voula – who greet each customer like an old friend – will be helping around the restaurant for a while.
