NW 85th Street blocked between 3rd and 8th avenues after car crashes into building

Update: All lanes have reopened and Metro Route 45 is operating on NW 85th Street as usual.
Earlier: According to KOMO, a Prius crashed into a building on NW 85th Street at 6th Avenue NW this afternoon.
According to Seattle Fire Department’s Real Time 911, the call for a “Heavy Rescue” came in at 3:50 p.m.
KIRO Tweeted that the driver is 70 years old.
Seattle Department of Transportation Tweeted that all eastbound and westbound lanes of NW 85th Street are blocked between 3rd and 8th avenues NW.
Seattle Police Tweeted that the driver was taken to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Metro is asking bus riders of Route 45 to use stops just east of 3rd Avenue NW of west of 8th Avenue NW until the road reopens.
