Farmers Market, live music, and sharing in Phinney-Greenwood this weekend

Here are a few highlights of weekend events in Greenwood and Phinney Ridge this weekend. Check out our Events calendar any time for more.

Phinney Farmers Market from 3-7 p.m. Friday at the Phinney Neighborhood Center, 6532 Phinney Ave. N., in the upper parking lot.

Contra Dance at 7:30 p.m. at the PNA, in the Brick Building.

Couth Buzzard Books, 8310 Greenwood Ave. N., presents Classical Guitar Cabaret with Matthew Anderson, Jessica Papkoff and Robert Vierschilling at 7:30 p.m. Friday; OneFourFive & Dave and the Dalmations in Concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday; and Northern Tunes Session with the Rhythm Rollers at 6 p.m. Sunday.

Karaoke with Katybelle at 8 p.m. Friday, Happy Hour Bingo at 4 p.m. Sunday, and Live Jazz at 8 p.m. Sunday at Tim’s Tavern, 602 N. 105th St.

The PNA has an information session about the PNA Sharing Revolution at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Phinney Resident Cecile Andrews will be at Elliott Bay Books on Capitol Hill at 3 p.m. Sunday to discuss her new book, “Living Room Revolution: A Handbook for Conversation, Community, and the Common Good.”

And don’t forget the Fremont Fair and Solstice Parade, and the Rock ’n Roll Marathon downtown on Saturday. Buses will be rerouted and traffic will be a mess, so beware.
