For the first time in 17 years, A la Mode Pies is doing Thanksgiving a little differently. The beloved Seattle pie shop is rolling out a brand-new holiday lineup of treats along with a brand-new website that makes ordering
faster and easier.
Every pie sold also brings A la Mode one step closer to reopening its flagship cafรฉ in Phinney Ridge. โThis community has kept us going for 17 years, one slice at a time,โ says owner Chris Porter, known to fans as The Pie Guy. โEvery pie you order this season helps us find our way back home to Phinney where it all began.โ
New varieties like Harvest Apple, Maple Pecan, Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake, and Cranberry Lemon, share the spotlight with longtime favorites like French Apple, Holiday, and Mexican Chocolate. A la Mode is thanking the community with 10% off every order of 10 pies or more. Itโs the perfect excuse to feed the office, surprise the neighbors, take care of the whole family, and cover the Thanksgiving table too.
During Thanksgiving week, the Ballard and West Seattle cafรฉs will be open 10am to 9pm Monday through Wednesday, and 10am to 4pm on Thanksgiving Day. A la Mode is also hosting three holiday pop-ups: two will be at its favorite corner, 59th and Phinney, on Wednesday, November 25, from 6 to 8pm, and on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, from 10am to noon. The third pop-up will be in Issaquah on Wednesday, November 25, from noon to 3pm, which has become an Eastside holiday tradition. After the Super Bowl of baking, A la Mode will be closed on Friday, November 27 so the team can rest.
