Glass, Clay, and More: Studio Tour comes to the Neighborhood

by | Oct 12, 2026

Mark your calendars for a free art outing close to home. The Glass and Decor Studio Tour and Sale returns the weekend of October 17–18, from 10am to 5pm. It’s a self-drive tour that runs rain or shine, with five studios opening their doors in and around Phinney, Greenwood, and Ballard. The tour is part of Refract Seattle, the four-day celebration of Northwest glass running October 15–18. Along with plenty of glass, you’ll find ceramics, turned wood, photography, pine needle work, and mixed media.

Every studio has something fun and informative to see, with most demos as videos and displays, so you can drop in whenever suits you. Many of the artists also teach classes, so if something catches your eye, ask about arranging a session to try it yourself.

A printable map and a Google map are available on the Friends in Glass tour page. The tour is sponsored by the Pacific NW Glass Guild. It’s a great chance to meet local makers, see how the work gets made, and get a head start on holiday shopping.
