Did You Know Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church Has a Food Pantry?

There’s a neighborhood resource hiding in plain sight that many longtime PhinneyWood residents may not know about. Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church operates a community food pantry twice a week, offering groceries to neighbors who need them, with very few hoops to jump through. No appointment needed, no eligibility restrictions, and identification is not required.

The pantry is open Tuesdays from 1:15–3pm and Wednesdays from 6–8pm. The entrance is located off N 76th Street, just east of Greenwood Avenue N, at Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church. Visitors can come to the pantry up to twice each month.

The pantry keeps things simple, collecting only a visitor’s self-reported name, household size, and ZIP code. That straightforward approach is intentional: if you or your family could use some extra help putting food on the table, the pantry is there for you.

As the holidays approach, we’ll share more about the pantry’s Thanksgiving and holiday food baskets, along with ways the PhinneyWood community can help support this neighborhood resource.
