As summer winds down and families begin settling into back-to-school routines, Dance Fremont is inviting youth and adult students to register for its 2026-2027 school year program. Fall classes begin Wednesday, September 9, and registration is now open for dancers of all experience levels.
If you’ve stopped by the Phinney Farmers Market, the Greenwood Car Show, or Ballard SeafoodFest this summer, there’s a good chance you’ve already met members of the Dance Fremont community. As the nonprofit dance school celebrates 30 years of dance education in Seattle, it is looking forward to welcoming both new and returning students into the studio for another year of movement, creativity, and connection.
Located at the corner of 85th and Greenwood, above Cocoa Legato, Dance Fremont offers ballet and modern dance classes for youth and adults in a supportive environment where dancers can grow at their own pace. The nonprofit dance school believes that high-quality dance training should be available to movers of all backgrounds, bodies, and identities. Through ballet, modern dance, composition, and performance opportunities, Dance Fremont fosters confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of movement.
Youth Program (Ages 3โ18)
Youth classes begin with Creative Dance for ages 3-4 and progress through ballet, modern, pointe, composition, and performance opportunities for older students.

Adult Program (Ages 15+)
Whether you’re stepping into a dance studio for the first time or returning after years away, Dance Fremont offers classes for a variety of experience levels, including Beginning Ballet, Beginning Modern, Beginning-Intermediate Ballet, and Intermediate-Advanced Drop-In Ballet.
