What if your next family game night stretched across an entire neighborhood?
On Saturday, July 25, from 1–6 p.m., that’s exactly what’s happening as Greenwood Games transforms PhinneyWood into a free, interactive celebration of tabletop games, puzzles, and local businesses. Hosted by Seattle-based Rainbow Rabbits Games, the event invites participants of all ages to explore the neighborhood while discovering games created right here in Washington.
The adventure spans Greenwood Avenue between North 65th and North 80th Streets, with local businesses serving as game stops along the route. Participants will pick up a Greenwood Games Playbook—part passport, part puzzle guide—and visit participating locations to collect clues, solve challenges, and try out a variety of tabletop games. Complete your Playbook and you’ll be entered to win prizes, including free games.
Whether you’re a seasoned board gamer or simply looking for a fun afternoon with family or friends, Greenwood Games is designed to be easy to jump into. The featured games emphasize quick learning, laughter, and bringing people together—the same philosophy that has guided Rainbow Rabbits Games since the Seattle company was founded in 2018.
Best of all, it’s a chance to experience the neighborhood in a new way. As you make your way up and down Greenwood Avenue, you’ll discover local shops, meet fellow players, and see why tabletop games have a unique way of connecting people across generations.
