Dogs already know they’re welcome at Lowrider Cookie Company (can you guess what type of dog is their namesake?). Now they have one more reason to stop by.
Every Thursday, the PhinneyWood cookie shop hosts a Dog Dress-Up Day, inviting four-legged visitors to arrive in their favorite costume, bandana, sweater, raincoat, or whatever outfit best suits their personality.
Whether your pup is dressed as a hot dog, superhero, pirate, bumblebee, or simply sporting their fanciest bow tie, they’ll be entered into Lowrider’s monthly costume contest. At the end of each month, one lucky dog will be crowned the winner and receive a free dozen of Lowrider’s scratch-made cookies. (The prize is for the humansโbut we suspect most pups will be happy to accept payment in belly rubs.)
The contest runs every Thursday during regular business hours (11 a.m.โ8 p.m.), making it the perfect excuse to grab an afternoon treat while showing off your dog’s impeccable fashion sense. Bring your best-dressed pup, snap a few photos, enjoy a cookie (or two), and you just might take home a free dozen at the end of the month.
