The Phinney Farmers Market returns this Friday, June 5, kicking off another season of fresh produce, local food, family activities, and community gathering in PhinneyWood.
The market takes place every Friday from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm through September 25 in the upper parking lot at the Phinney Neighborhood Association (6532 Phinney Ave N).
Opening Day marks the return of the popular Power of Produce (POP) Kids Tent, where young market-goers can participate in the weekly Two-Bite Challenge. Kids who try two bites of the featured fruit or vegetable sample earn Market Bucks to spend at participating vendors. Additional kids activities will also be available throughout the afternoon.
Visitors can expect a mix of returning favorites and several new vendors joining the market for the 2026 season, including:
- Raven Pyne โ fruit leathers and jams
- Ojaswe Co. โ chilla, savory South Asian chickpea pancakes
- Loki Fish Co. โ wild-caught salmon
- K&C Farms โ orchard fruit
- Holmquist Hazelnut Orchards โ hazelnuts
- Seeking Ferments โ kombucha, switchel, and fermented beverages
The market features a rotating selection of farmers, food producers, prepared food vendors, and artisan makers throughout the season, making each Friday a little different from the last.
Whether you’re shopping for fresh produce, picking up dinner ingredients, introducing kids to new foods, or simply enjoying a summer afternoon in the neighborhood, Opening Day is the perfect opportunity to welcome the season.
