Looking to make a difference in our PhinneyWood community? Volunteering with the PNA brings people together to support our community. We connect with our neighbors, share our time and talents, and most importantly, we have fun! Here are some ongoing organizational needs we are looking to fill with excellent folks from the community like YOU.Signing up does not bind you to a certain date or time, but puts you in a pool of people we reach out to well in advance to see if you are able to pitch in.
Audio-Video Support
Our new “A-V-ator” (A/V Support) position, we always need a little help setting up equipment for events! Volunteers interested in learning how to properly set up, run, take down, and troubleshoot our A/V system(s) – apply here! The ideal volunteer has some experience with (or a lot of interest in) sound equipment, and will commit to training and staffing this role 3-4 events per year. Open to ages 16+, but some events are 21+. Learn more and sign up here.
Bar Team
Help us raise the bar! Volunteers (age 21+) interested in learning how to properly set up, run, take down, and clean the bar, jockey box and accessories – apply here! Must either have a MAST permit or be willing to get one. The ideal volunteer will commit to training and staffing this role 4+ events per year. Learn more and sign up here.
Data Entry
Your flying โ and accurate โ fingers are needed to help us get gobs of info into the cloud. This position requires an eye for detail, the ability to decipher scratchy handwriting, and either experience with Salesforce or the ability and eagerness to learn new database software. You also get to hang out with a bunch of fun folks! Timing is flexible, ideally 2-3 hours/week, for at least 6 months. Learn more and sign up here.
Safe Driver
Help increase accessibility at our events by driving the GSC minivan. Must have a valid driver’s license, be a safe & confident driver, and be at least 21 years old. Sign up for shifts when you’re available. Learn more and sign up here.
Tool Library Assistant
Volunteers check membership status, check tools out and in, keep our inventory organized, and collect donations. Some experience with tools helpful, but not required. Strong customer service and computer skills a must; ability to speak more than one language welcome. Open to ages 16+, 6+ month commitment preferred. Please note: our Tool Library is accessed by 1-2 flights of stairs. Current needs on Wednesdays from 4 to 6PM and Fridays from 3 to 5 PM. Learn more and sign up here.
