From the Greenwood Neighbors Protecting Neighbors group who organized our huge march in January, you are invited to come together for a morning of connection and community action at the upcoming North Seattle Pre-March Rally on Saturday, March 28.

Taking place at Maple Leaf Reservoir Park (1020 NE 82nd St), the gathering begins at 10:00 am and offers a welcoming, family-friendly space for people of all ages to engage with one another before heading out to march.

This pre-march rally is designed to bring neighbors together in a meaningful and approachable way. Attendees can connect with others in the community, create signs for the march, and participate in collaborative art activities. Local organizations will also be on site, providing opportunities to learn more about ways to get involved and make a difference right here in North Seattle.

At 11:30 am, participants will begin making their way toward Cal Anderson Park to join the larger march, while the neighborhood rally itself will continue at Maple Leaf until 1:00 pm for those who wish to stay and engage locally.

With an emphasis on inclusivity, creativity, and community voice, this event offers a chance to gather, express, and stand alongside neighbors in a supportive environment. Families are especially encouraged to attendโ€”kids are welcome, and the event is designed to be accessible and engaging for all.
