A longtime PhinneyWood business is opening an exciting new chapter in Ballard. The Phinery, an interior design studio and home store, is celebrating the grand opening of its new Ballard location on Saturday, March 7th, inside the former Morgan’s Kitchen & Bath building at 8055 15th Ave NW.
Founded ten years ago, The Phinery has long been part of the PhinneyWood community, growing from a small studio into a full-service design team serving homes across Seattle. As the business expanded, owner Becky Ducsik knew it was time for a space that could grow with the team—and when she walked into the historic Ballard building, she immediately saw its potential.
The nearly 10,000-square-foot space has been thoughtfully reimagined to house both design services and a welcoming home store filled with furniture, décor, art, rugs, gifts, and exclusive Phinery collections. With free parking and plenty of room to explore, the new location is designed to be a true neighborhood destination.
The Phinery will be open to the public for shopping on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 5 pm starting March 7, with design appointments available by request. Neighbors are invited to stop by, check out the beautifully refreshed space, and help welcome this longtime local business to Ballard.
