The Phinney Neighborhood Association (PNA) is committed to being a place of safety, dignity, and belonging for all. In moments of fear and uncertainty, PNA’s role is to bring people together, connect community members to trusted resources, and provide space for learning, support, and collective care.
On February 6, 2026, PNA will host an open community gathering to participate in a free, WAISN Rapid Response virtual training.
The Washington Immigrant Solidarity Network (WAISN) is the largest immigrant justice network in Washington with deep expertise in community-based rapid response, immigrant rights education, and volunteer coordination. This bilingual training (English and Spanish) draws on WAISN’s experience supporting families and holding systems accountable while strengthening community resilience across Washington.
By gathering at the PNA to participate in this training together, community members can learn how to share accurate information about individual rights, document enforcement activity, support affected families, and join a broader network of care and response. PNA is proud to provide space for neighbors to come together and to connect the community with organizations already doing this work with skill, care, and impact.
