Greenhouse Nail Spa, founded and brought to “beloved PhinneyWood business” status by Kelly Huynh in 2019, is now in the capable hands of a new owner. This is not a sad occurrence – Kelly has worked most of her life in the industry, and is very much looking forward to new opportunities and adventures in life. New owner Ally Moir sent out this message to her mailing list this week:
Dear Lovely Clients,
My name is Ally, and I’m excited to introduce myself as the new owner of Greenhouse.
I grew up in a rural farming community of about 5,000 people, where small businesses were the heartbeat of everyday life. When I found Greenhouse, I recognized a place that makes this big city feel like a small town. So much of Greenhouse has been built by this communityโthe supply loft ladder, the retail price tents, a plant or two, even the pedicure seat coversโeach one brought in by Greenhouse clients.
Over the past few months, Iโve learned how intentionally and lovingly Kelly built this space. She created a sanctuary for the environment, for her team, and for all of you through her unwavering high standards. Iโm excited to see how she brings her creativity and care into the next chapter of her life.
I also want to express my tremendous gratitude to LeAnn, Jazzy, Jade, Bunny, and Bex for embracing this change with open arms and for patiently answering my endless questions about processes and products. Iโm inspired every day by the care they put into curating an environment for rejuvenation, conversation, and peace.
As we move through this transition, Iโm truly excited to get to know each of you. Please feel free to stop by, say hello, and share what Greenhouse means to you. Your feedback and support are invaluable as we begin this new chapter together.
Thank you for being such a cherished part of our Greenhouse family. I canโt wait to meet you soon.
Kelly is still around and about, so you’ll likely see her at some point. She leaves a legacy of creating a unique and well-loved business, hard work, community volunteerism, and generosity. Best of luck in your new adventures, Kelly!
