Seattle’s beloved PhinneyWood Winter Festival is returning this December to mark its 45th year, bringing with it a time-honored tradition of handmade gifts, local music, and neighborhood cheer. Hosted at the Phinney Center from December 5 to 7, 2025, the event promises a festive weekend filled with shopping, celebration, and community connection.
In a notable first for the event, organizers are introducing advance ticket sales and a brand-new experience aimed at adult attendees. The inaugural 21+ Preview Night, scheduled for Friday, December 5 from 5 to 8 p.m., will offer guests an exclusive, low-crowd evening with early access to artisan vendors. The adults-only night is designed to offer a more relaxed, uncrowded shopping atmosphere, enhanced by live music in both buildings and two bars serving seasonal drinks including mulled wine, spiced cider, and non-alcoholic beverages.
Tickets for all three days of the festival are now available for advance purchase, with special early-bird pricing in effect through November 1. Preview Night tickets are currently discounted by $5, while general admission tickets for the main festival on Saturday and Sunday are reduced by $1. Those who purchase tickets in advance will also benefit from a designated fast entrance line.
Over the course of the weekend, more than 140 local artists and makers will showcase their work across the Phinney Center’s campus, making this one of Seattle’s largest and most vibrant holiday shopping events. Among this year’s featured vendors are Jansi Glass, known for handcrafted glass ornaments; Foxtail Pottery, which offers ceramics inspired by the natural world; and Factory 43, a local favorite specializing in quirky art and prints. The festival will also host a Juried Art Show, highlighting more than 40 curated artists.
The Winter Festival will take place at the Phinney Center, located at 6532 Phinney Ave N. The adults-only Preview Night runs Friday evening from 5 to 8 p.m., followed by the family-friendly main festival on Saturday and Sunday, December 6 and 7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
More than just a festive event, the Winter Festival also serves as a key fundraiser for the Phinney Neighborhood Association (PNA). Proceeds from ticket sales, merchandise, and refreshments support a wide range of community programs, including hot meals for neighbors in need, senior services, arts and cultural events, and more.
Organizers say the event is not only a way to celebrate local makers and kick off the holiday season, but also an opportunity to give back and strengthen community ties.
Tickets are available now here, and organizers encourage early purchase—especially for Preview Night, which will have limited capacity. For more information or to buy tickets, visit the Phinney Neighborhood Association’s website.
