Homey has opened at 8537 Greenwood Avenue! It offers a mix of new and vintage furnishings and home goods. You can find furniture to cozy up your home or stop by to pick up gifts. The shop stocks candles, cards, bath and beauty products, lighting, sculptures, pillows…well, just about anything would want to spruce up their space.
Owner Trish Cramblet has a goal in mind: provide the community with affordable and stylish housewares they may not find elsewhere. As a brick & mortar, the shop hopes to be a shopping destination that’s affordable. “I don’t mark everything up 200%. That’s supposedly the rule of retail, but I prefer prices that allow for a profit while not gouging my customers. It’s a tight rope, as overhead costs are a concern. But, I’m determined to keep prices reasonable.”
This marks the first retail-facing store in this space for over a decade, since Gary’s Games closed in 2014.
Homey is open Wednesday – Sunday, noon – 5 or 6 pm.
