Tlingit & Haida is sponsoring a Washington Team to attend the 2025 Traditional Games in Juneau, Alaska on April 4-6. Join us for a Native Youth Olympics Seattle Day Camp next Monday, January 20th, held at the Greenwood Senior Center from 10am – 2pm.
Traditional athletic contests and northern games developed the strength and skill of countless generations of Alaskan native people which they depend on for survival in everyday life. Today’s Native Youth Olympic Games carry on this spirit by encouraging young people to strive for their personal best while instilling values needed for success. This event is free and open to the public!
All ages are welcome to sign up for the day camp here. All ages and welcome. Under 7 welcome with a caregiver. Youth grades 6th-12th may be eligible to travel to the 2025 Traditional Games in Juneau, Alaska on April 4-6.
