Applications closing soon for Reimagining PhinneyWood Signal Boxes

by | Jan 21, 2025

Time is running out to be part of an exciting opportunity to bring art to the streets of PhinneyWood! The Reimagining PhinneyWood Signal Boxes project is calling all artists to submit applications that capture the spirit of the community through the theme “Wander PhinneyWood.” This theme encourages creatives to explore and celebrate the area’s unique landmarks, culture, and natural beauty. Selected designs will be transformed into durable vinyl wraps, turning nineteen signal boxes into lasting pieces of public art.

As an added highlight, the original artworks will be featured at the 2025 PhinneyWood Summer Arts Festival, providing artists with additional exposure and the chance to earn commissions through an auction. This initiative is not only a fantastic opportunity to showcase your talent but also a way to leave a meaningful, artistic legacy in our neighborhood.

For application details, eligibility requirements, and submission guidelines, visit the project website.

Applications are due by February 1st, 2025. For questions or additional information, contact Terri Price at [email protected].
