Taproot Theatre is excited to present the world premiere of Happy Christmas, Jeeves by Heidi McElrath and Nathan Kessler-Jeffrey,based on the stories of PG Wodehouse. The production, directed by Karen Lund, opens November 29 and runs through December 28, 2024.
Step into the whimsical world of Bertie Wooster and his impeccable valet, Jeeves, in this brand-new holiday play. All Bertie wants for Christmas is a quiet night at home with no relatives, but his tranquility is shattered by a love-smitten pal and the impending arrival of the meddling Aunt Agatha. Join the mirth and mayhem in a delightful comedy that will tickle your fancy and warm your heart.
Karen Lund directs William Eames, Rachel Guyer-Mafune, Joe Moore, Kim Morris, Calder Jameson Shilling, Richard Nguyen Sloniker, and Nikki Visel. Rebecca Gelzer, Llysa Holland, Jon Lutyens, and Giao Nguyen understudy.

Senior Matinees: December 3, 18, and 27 at 2:00 PM; Taproot’s Senior Matinee program provides anyone aged 62 and older with an affordable way to participate in live theatre in a convenient daytime performance. Performance features a post-play discussion, immediately following the show.
Intergenerational Matinee: December 4 at 10:30 AM; With $10 student/chaperone tickets, printed educational play guides, and a guided post-play discussion, our Intergenerational Matinees enhance student education, providing theatre as a tool and springboard for learning, growth and communication.
