Legendary local community organization FamilyWorks is collecting school supplies for local students for distribution in August. Their goal is to provide each student in need with the necessary tools to thrive on their academic journey. Please donate supplies by Friday, August 16th.
With your support in 2023, FamilyWorks provided 87 children from 38 families with backpacks and supplies. They plan on serving over 100 families at their Back-to-School celebration and need your help reach even more students this year. You can help make sure local students get the supplies they need by either:
- Purchasing school supplies through their Amazon wish list by August 16th
- Please make a note in the shipping information that deliveries are accepted: Tuesday-Thursday 9am-5pm & Fridays 9am-3pm
- Email Summer Family Progams Coordinator Subigya Pandey at [email protected] with a list of the items so we can correctly track your donations.
- Bringing in supplies to the new Family Resource Center at 1005 NE 67th St, Seattle, WA 98115 by August 16th
- Donation drop-offs on Wednesdays from 2 – 5 pm, Fridays from 11 am – 2 pm, or arrange another time with Family Resource Center Manager Edsel Blanche at [email protected].
