Join the PhinneyWood Art Walk and/or the Winter Festival! The PNA is seeking artists and performers of all kinds to participate in these well-attended upcoming events. Whether you’re a painter, ceramist, photographer, woodworker, sculptor, or musician, these are excellent ways to showcase your work, connect with other artists, and engage with our vibrant community.
First up is the PhinneyWood Art Walk on Friday, September 13th (6-9pm) and Saturday the 14th (noon-5pm) throughout the business district. Celebrate local art in businesses along Greenwood Avenue. Artists display their work at host businesses, creating a vibrant, community-centered event. Artists looking to show your work can contact businesses directly or use our artist-business matching spreadsheet. Interested businesses are asked to select an artist and register by August 18th on the event site.
Next is the legendary Winter Festival & Craft Fair, Saturday and Sunday December 7-8 from 10am to 5pm at the Phinney Center. Celebrate creativity, community, and the holiday season at the 44th annual PhinneyWood Winter Festival & Craft Fair. This year, the PNA is expanding to include a juried art show and scholarships for emerging artists.
For the juried art show, we are looking for local artists – especially emerging and BIPOC artists – and the registration deadline is September 30th. Interested parties can apply here. Marketplace vendors will have the opportunity to sell your handmade crafts and art to hundreds of attendees over two days. The application deadline for vendors is coming right up, on August 18th. You can apply here for a $25 jury fee, and scholarships are available for emerging artists.
There are also volunteer opportunities at these events as well.
