This Sunday, the PhinneyWood Summer Arts Festival comes together to celebrate the vibrant arts scene and community spirit of PhinneyWood. The festival, held at the Phinney Center’s Lower Parking Lot, located at 6532 Phinney Ave. N., promises a day filled with creativity, entertainment, and local flavors.
Attendees can look forward to exploring the craftsmanship of over 80 local artisans showcasing their original art, jewelry, ceramics, and more. From 11 am to 5 pm, visitors can immerse themselves in hands-on artistic workshops suitable for all ages, providing an opportunity to engage directly with talented instructors. Don’t forget to book early to avoid missing out.
Don’t miss the Beer Garden, sponsored by Reuben’s Brews, where guests can unwind with locally crafted brews while enjoying live music from talented performers throughout the day.
Families are encouraged to visit the Kids Zone sponsored by Illumination Learning Studio, conveniently located next to the playground near the Beer Garden. Here, children can participate in fun and educational activities.
“We’re excited to bring together the community once again to support our local artists and celebrate creativity,” said Terri Price, Art Festival Coordinator. “The PhinneyWood Summer Arts Festival is a testament to our commitment to promoting arts and culture in PhinneyWood.”
In addition to the vibrant arts showcase, several local PhinneyWood businesses will be participating in the festival, including Dabble, Baraka, Seattle ReCreative, Taproot Theatre, American Dance Institute, PNA Community Woodshop, and Illumination Learning Studio.
Admission to the festival is free, offering an affordable and enriching experience for all attendees. Whether you’re shopping for unique artworks, enjoying live music, or simply savoring local flavors, there’s something for everyone at the PhinneyWood Summer Arts Festival.
