Community invited to Couth Buzzard owner’s retirement party

by | Jun 11, 2024

PhinneyWood residents should be well-versed in the long and eventually happy saga of our neighborhood used book store/care/performance space. The Couth Buzzard was set to quickly close, then was saved by the community, and now has new and invigorated ownership.

Join your neighbors and Buzzard fans in celebrating all of Theo Dzielak’s hard work building community during his time as the owner of the Couth Buzzard this Saturday June 15th starting at 6pm. Hosted by Kate Smith and Chuck Gould in an open-mic style format, the community is invited to share a story, song, poem – anything that you’re inspired to do to celebrate the man that has been the heart and soul of the Couth. The Facebook event is here.

Want to help Theo launch into his next chapter? Donate to the GoFundMe here.
